Commissioner Jim Kennedy is a lifelong resident of Butler County, a husband, a father of 5, and a grandfather of 9. He is a dairy and grain farmer in addition to his duties as County Commissioner. He previously served 17 years on the South Butler County School Board, and is currently a director with AgChoice Farm Credit having served for over 26 years. Jim Kennedy is president of the Farmers Cooperative Market of East Liberty, where his son represents the 4th generation of the Kennedy family that has worked there, spanning 31 years of selling meat and produce.
